Back in college I spent my summers at a counselor at Camp Asbury. It was such a fun job that didn’t feel like work. I spent my summers backpacking, climbing rock walls and high ropes and sending kids over the zip line, mountain biking, canoeing, swimming, sliding down the mudslide, waterskiing, horseback riding, hiking, sleeping under the stars, in teepees and in shelters in the woods. I even got to take groups of kids on overnight trips canoeing in Canada, backpacking, horseback riding and mountain biking. See what I mean about not working? Before Kyton was born I would volunteer as a counselor.
We went back to see a community concert and let Kyton enjoy the fresh air.
I was so thankful to have my parents there to help me wrangle Kyton. He was very interested in the interactive parts of the concert but wanted to explore.
He loves riding on my dad’s shoulders.
My parents spoiled him by letting his use their keys.
I love this photo of my parents and Kyton!
