The San Diego tide pools are one of my sister’s favorite places to take visitors while in southern California.
There are creatures in every nook and cranny.
The picture above to the left is a Chiton – pronounced the same way we say Kyton.
Another Chiton.
In all of these spaces crabs and other creatures build their homes.
Every white dot is a moving crab.
pacific star fish – normally a little hard to find, but my sister the biologist found us one.
Here’s the rock climbing part…
In his bare feet – with a spot of course – he climbed up this rock face.

What a fun day! I enjoyed going to the tidal pools in SD when I went to go see family!!
