Hummus is one of my favorite snacks. I recently discovered that it is actually easy and inexpensive to make. This recipe makes twice what a tub of store bought hummus makes and costs much less to make.

Ingredients:
1 can of garbanzo beans (liquid saved)
3 tablespoons tahini
2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of cumin
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of parsley
1 dash of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until at desired consistency. Add saved liquid if necessary.

There are two things I just can't eat and they both have the same texture. Hominy and hummus... Pretty much everyone I know, I loves it. Not me!
