We Cut off his Mullet

It was time.  We had cut the front of Kyton’s hair, but according to Dylan this did not count as a ‘real’ cut.

The back of Kyton’s hair had these cute curls that I didn’t want to cut off.  To make it worse I was warned by every old person I ever met that once I cut his hair he’ll never have those baby curls again!  AHH!  I was scared.

We cut off the back and saved the locks of orange hair.

This is what I looked like wet. It’s actually too short dry, and looks a little funny at the moment.  I’d rather give him some layers in the back, but Dylan wants it all one length.

So whether or not the first one counted, he’s now had his hair cut.   At what age did you cut your kid’s hair?

I don't remember the exact ages, but usually it was when it started to look odd. I seem to remember some sort of hysterics by one or two of them also..

One more thing...
With the first hair cut you can start to see the kid they are turning into.
