He throws a fit when it is time to come inside and leave the drums. He tried to bring the sticks into the house.
He thinks that everything should be a drum, and regularly gets in trouble for hitting things.
I can’t get over how much this kid enjoys his father’s hobby! Do you think it’s too soon to know that he is going to be a rock star?

As much as I try to feed my son only healthy foods, only fruits and veggies, nothing processed and no sugar…..
Sometimes this happens.
We let him be a kid and eat
ice-cream low fat frozen yogurt.
Look how happy he is! Totally worth it! Do you keep it healthy, or let them eat what they want?

This kid loves anything with buttons, especially when he sees it is important to his parents. Remotes, phones and computer are favorites.
We have a decoy, but he does not like it as well. Do you let your kids play with the real thing?

I’m now done with all of my photography projects. I’ve been blessed recently with clients’ projects consistently. Now it’s onto my personal photos.
This summer we went to a crazy animal park. I can’t think of any other way to describe it.
They gave us a cup of food to feed to the freely roaming wild animals.
The thing is that these animals were aggressive. They have been conditioned that food comes from cups in cars, and they try and pull the cups out of the car.
Sometimes they swarmed a car and would not leave, or let the car move.
We were a little worried about letting a buffalo or moose in the car since we had Kyton, so we opted to keep the windows shut.
Kyton may have sampled a little of the animal food while I was not looking. Extra fiber, right?
The guys in the background had paddles they would use to push back animals that were just too aggressive.
We also enjoyed the walk around animal park and a few shows. Despite my ethical questions it was a unique experience.

Kyton is officially 15 months old!
He continues to talk, and talk, and talk. In addition to the words he is already using he now says: watermelon, door, ant, again, beep, baby, done, dog-in his own way=). I am sure that there are more, but I can’t think of them right now. One of my favorites is that when we ask “Do you want___?” He excitedly nods his head and says clear as day “Yeah, yeah!” He tells me about once a day I love you (ay wu wu.)
When I get home from work he stops what he is doing and RUNS to the door to give me a hug. This is by far the best part of my day. He wraps his arms around my neck and just hangs on and squeezes me tight.
He eats like an adult. I truly think that he could eat more than a small adult.
He still goes to sleep at midnight, wakes up during the night and is up at 7ish for the day. He takes one nap for about 75 minutes. He can climb off of our bed, which is about 3 feet high!
Brushing his teeth is also a favorite. He helps unload the dishwasher by handing us the dishes. At dinner time he’ll bring the ingredients for diner from me to Dylan. One day we went to the store and while we were putting away the perishables, Kyton emptied our grocery bags and put all of the boxes in his high chair.
Going outside is a favorite past time. He moves around our solar lights and plays in the kitty’s water bin. He also tries to play with the kitties.
He is really really strong, and really really persistent. He is a ball of energy that is constantly moving!
Keeping it real, we see this mad face quite often when we say no. We also clean up messes ALL THE TIME!
Oh, and he climbed out of the playpen the other day. a.k.a. time out. So we need a new time out.
Dylan and I tell each other every day how blessed we are to have this little boy in our lives!
