Last time we went to Grand Cayman we were told of a place called Hell where you can go to on the island. The city is literally called Hell, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. In the pictures below you will see Hell's gift shop!

There are lots of reasons as to how Hell got its name, but
the most obvious to me is the sharp, jagged, black rocks that would resemble
something that the real Hell might have in abundance, where the Devil might
make people tap dance! To get scientific, the rocks are limestone that has been
severely and uniquely eroded by algae. As ocean waters have grown shallower
over thousands and thousands of years, the rock has been exposed and the
calcium deposits have been eaten away by the algae, resulting in the rock
formations. But when it really came down to it I just thought that it looked
neat!

We spent most of the morning there just hanging out, enjoying Hell. We saw a bunch of iguanas, which was a nice bonus.

Of course, we had to send a postcard out from Hell, you just
can’t pass that up.
While this was obviously a tourist trap and quite kitschy, I
just couldn’t resist going and had a very enjoyable time.
