She was in great health until about a month ago when she had a minor stroke. Unfortunately her time in the hospital and nursing home led to an infection, which she was unable to fight.
I scanned old photos of my grandmother and created 10 minute slide show the looped as friends and family visited the funeral home. The photo on the left is from a wedding, and on the right was a visit last summer including myself and my two sisters. My grandma made a point of leaving many wonderful memories and heirlooms that will be treasured.
As part of our weekend of remembrance we tried to do things that grandma enjoyed. We dined at one of her favorite restaurants, ate Chinese food & went to an Indians game. Kyton has done remarkably well during all of the events. I keep thinking that he’ll be over stimulated during an event, and sleep poorly, or cry to show his frustration, but this has not been the case. This was Kyton’s first Baseball game & the Indians won!

Kyton sounds like a busy boy. Was your Grandma able to meet him before she passed away? I hope so! I only have one grandparent left right now and I'm so anxious for her to meet our new baby... it's always hard when you start to lose those you love the most. Take care of that sweet baby! (Will you guys be home around Christmastime?)
Sorry for your loss. So glad Kyton has done so well, he sounds like a dream baby!
What a grand way to honour your grandmother.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
