Backpacking

While in California we spent a night backpacking in the mountains.  I have no idea which mountains, I just got in the car and my sister and Rich took us there and told us to get out of the car.
*Edited, My sis said: We went backpacking at the West Fork of the San Gabriel River- in the San Gabriel mountains.*
The picture  on the left is Rebecca climbing a waterfall, and it is straight out of the camera.

Dylan was reading his script for Bye Bye Birdie while we were hiking.  He was missing the first 2 weeks of practice for our trip, and amazingly returned knowing the entire script.  Rebecca (my sis) Rich (Rebecca’s Boyfriend) and I (Carly) were looking up and at the mountains.  Dylan was looking down and saw this….

One of the reasons that we my sister choose this particular trail was because of the beautiful waterfalls.  This was such a treat.  We have plenty of water in FL, but only man made waterfalls.

High class!  Drinking wine after dinner.  (left)  My sister’s cute tent… and a path through the poison ivy.

Love the Gorilla pod and the timer.  aww… aren’t we sweet?
Hmmm… Can you see in these series of pictures who caused the trouble?

We enjoyed perfectly clear weather and a break from the heat of LA and the humidity that we normally experience in Florida.

I was pretty much behind the entire time since I was taking pictures…

Looks like such BIG fun! It's amazing how we can have waterfalls in our very dry mountains, but, we do. I'm glad you had a good trip to California!
