The Coast

Living in Orlando, one of my favorite weekend destinations is the coast!

There are so many things that I love about the beach!

kicking off my shoes when my feet hit the sand
smelling the salty air

The sound of the waves (Image below is straight out of the camera)

watching fishermen (Not fishing myself)

Poking around the rocks and looking for sea-life
Watching the tourist who get in the water even when it is chilly

Enjoying the simple life
spending time with my husband (reflection in his glasses)
Dreaming...
Of living in one of these houses
and taking in the beauty
of God's creation
oh, and taking pictures...
WAY too many pictures....

I love that too!

The azure Atlantic beckons all of us, you being pretty close to the shore. The do many things, like fish or traverse the beach. Or relax and admire the atmospheric and oceanic blues. The beauty extends from either side of the grassy dunes...

Carly, I've never been to the beach there. I first flew into Orlando back in probably 1970 when I worked for NASA. We had to walk to the airport from our plane. It rained a few times.

Things sure have changed from that. There wasn't any Disney World and no Astros for Spring Training at Kissiminee. We did have a Lunar Rover simulator/trainer to chase around in the sand.

Also had cows in the fields to watch on the lonely drive over to the Cape. :)
