We checked in the hotel, hopped in the car, made a quick stop for food and our date night was underway.
We found a parking spot in Saint Petersburg near the bay... I think it was Tampa Bay.
We feasted on a appetizing $6 foot longs. (I guess the $5 sale was over.)
We talked and enjoyed each others company as we watched the sun disappear.
The sounds of a live jazz festival were at the perfect volume from half way across the marina.
After dinner we went for a walk around the water's edge, and saw a dolphin right next to us!
I know that you are thinking it sounds like a strange date, but moments like these are the best and I loved every minute of it!

The lovely sub-tropical Gulf water seems to be a place for romance and sightseeing. The sunset over the bay is soft, soothing and relaxing - that, and soft jazz, are always is a plus for romantic and loving couples...
