Water Water Everywhere

Last weekend there was SO much rain that many areas were flooded. I'm sure that it did not help that we were staying on a peninsula on an island.
Dog walk areas were swimming pools

Fields were swamps
At one point in time we parked our car and walked.
Everything was swampy

Not to worry, the good thing about out Florida sand is that it quickly absorbs the water and we are back to normal.

Not that I would put this up around my house, but I thought it was cute, and a great way to recycle.  It would also be a fun project for kids at home, or my students at school.
