Shoud I buy Photoshop?

I an debating getting photo shop, but wondering if anyone has it?  I currently have Photo shop elements, which can do quite a lot!  Within the past few months I have been using light room for everything and absolutely love it!  I am using the beta and will definitely be purchasing it when the real version is released.  I am just wondering if there are many features that Photo shop can do that elements can't.  I worry that it will be such a huge program that it will take forever to load, and I won't want to use it because of that.  Thanks in advance for any advice that you can give.  Happy Wednesday!
Wordless Wednesday

There must have been at least 20 dolphins that came to the area for dinner.  They stayed for a while and ate.

I like the fishing theme. That pier does seem like a popular spot! I love the blue netting.

I have elements, not willing to put out the $ for photoshop before I buy lenses I want. Even then I
m not sure I would get it. I know a lot of people out there like light room. I just prefer mild tweaking anyway. Good luck.

Love your pictures here. I live in a big city so I always fancy going to the beach. I'm going to check ABC Wednesday. Sounds like a good meme. Thank you. Have a wonderful day.

Lots of rocks Carly. The people in the sepia scene animate and give it scale.

I have elements as well. While I love it I really want to get CS4. I have been watching ebay for a deal. There are so many actions that you can't use in elements and I'de love to be able to utilize them.

I don't have either of them. To me it's all about the shot and maybe some creative cropping. A good picture doesn't need a bunch of processing. A little bit is fine! But having a good eye is so much more important that a bunch of effects. But that's just me. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I'm cheap! lol...

Must have Paul McCartney on the mind - I'm humming Junk from his first solo album. One person's junk might be another's treasure, I suppose.

On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you! - Ramblin' with Roger

Sorry it's been so long since I've visited. I just looked at your lovely photos in the last three posts ... LOVE the pelicans especially but all are marvelous. The beach here and the dolphin ... Your photos are always wonderful. I use 'Elements' and like Rebecca, I don't think I'll put out the money for the whole thing ever. One of these days I'd like to try Light Room but haven't done so yet.
Hugs and blessings,
