Freezing Friday

I am amazed at how long it has been cold here in Orlando.  We've had the heat on since Sunday!  That is by far not the norm.  I honestly an enjoying it!  I like a little cold weather since I know that in another week I'll be sweating again.  The rumor was that we may see snow today, but I don't think that'll happen.

Photo Friday
The theme is bedtime.  This is Dylan in the middle of my family's annual cookie baking day.  As I am sure you can tell from he pictures he loves cookie baking for hours on end.  He managed to slip away for a short nap.  (He can fall asleep anywhere.) That reminds me... I bet he's asleep in his office right now. Off to wake him and go to bed.

I love the reflections! The red ornaments are very beautiful reflected in the glassy surface. And, it's hard to imagine cold weather in Orlando. But, do enjoy the brief relief from the warmer humid days! Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous sky, the mass of blue and gray offset by the bright orange hue. The kitty has the usual regal pose for the camera, and the tired guy is so because of the work performed - at least he thinks so!

Too bad about the cold, it seems so unnatural in central Fla. You should be warm, we snowbirds expect cold in New England!

I did not realized at first that the christmas ornaments were so huge! It's beautiful!

Great balls of Fire! Nice catch Carly. I'd like to see the tree where those guys could hang.

It's been chillier than usual here in Southern California too, but looking at all the really cold wintry photos others have shared on their blogs ... who can complain? Love your 'critters' and your reflections ... remnants of the holiday past. I got carried away (multi-tasking BIG TIME with 'reflections' and 'critters' while sharing 'tamale-making' at Sacred Ruminations yesterday afternoon and evening ... so this morning I'm trying to catch up on blog visits before the day actually begins ... just a couple of blessings of this retired life ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

That is an amazing shot of the Christmas decorations. Love all the twinkling lights reflected in the ornaments. It's been colder than normal here too, but unlike you, I DON'T like it. Can't wait for warmer weather. Kathy

Nice shots. The reflection is really cool and the skywatch photo reminds me of what I saw when I looked out of the Jet's window on the way back from Europe.
