Back to normal?

It has finally gotten back to the normal temps for Florida and I really think that the unusually cold temps have made me much more appreciative of beautiful weather. I will admit that I tried it without the heat on and I couldn't do it.  I need it to be at least 70 to be comfortable.  Would you believe that we've had the heat on from the 3rd to the 15th ?!?!  Prior to that I had used the heat a total of about 5 days in my 5 years in Florida.

We just finished the Movie Julia and Julia.  My husband was  hoping that it would inspire the french cooking in me.  I'm not sure about that, but my mom gave me a cruise cookbook for Christmas.  I think if Julia can cook so many amazing recipes I can make fruit soup.  Let me know if you enjoyed my recipe yesterday... I may make that a regular feature. Once a week, not everyday!
I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend.  _______________________________________________________

I will have to check out your recipe. What kind of fruit soup recipe is in your book. I had a fruit soup years ago in a local restaurant and have been trying since then to recreate it!

Have a great weekend! Glad it is warming up for you!

It seems that in the south we're all finally thawing out...and I agree, more appreciative of the lovely weather we usually enjoy!

Thanks so much for the photo. It makes me think of warmer days!

Have a great weekend. Thanks for playing along.

The reflections along the stretch of waterfront are very beautiful. The warm is so calm and the lights so warm. A lovely photograph.

The look of paradise in land, sea and sky is so soothing, and warm, too. Up here, 'warm' has a different meaning as today it was near 50 and 'warm' (comparatively speaking that is :>)

Happily, Florida feels like it should!

Ah, a warm climate...The skies and reflections in your photos are really pretty! And relaxing under a palm tree. Wow, I can't even imagine that here in Cold Connecticut.

The evening shot is just so beautiful, I try and try to capture the night lights of our view of the harbour here at Picton from our balcony, but can never manage it. You have captured it perfectly.

Beautiful shots - so glad it's warming up there. Love the night reflection shot, wonderful capture. I have a hard time with lights on the water and this came out really nice. And the skywatch shot - what great colors. Have a great weekend. Kathy

All your shots are wonderful - especially that sunset. It's snowy here so I would just love to relax on a beach right now...

As your temperatures return to normal, here in Southern California a series of storms are supposed to move through during the next week thanks to El NiƱo. As always ... your multi-tasking is admirable and your photographs beautiful.
Hugs and blessings,
