As a blog commenter (maryt/theteach) pointed out these gators are well fed, so I guess that they don't need to work for their food?? I still think it seems out of place to see a crane sitting in the middle of so many gators.
He's sick and tired of it all and wants to give up....unfortunately for him the gators have have been tipped off and intend to foil his plan to use them to end his days!
That crane has nerves of steel! All it would take would be one flash, and one of those green guys would have that crane for lunch! Gators move so fast it's scary. It always makes me nervous to watch the feeding time at the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine. But I love it there. If you are ever up this way, Carly, you need to be sure and see it. It's not only alligators but beautiful birds, some monkeys and various endangered species, and it's the oldest alligator farm in the US.

Yes the crane does look like it should get out. Who says a gater won't want a snack?

yeah I think I would be screaming for it to get out too!
Awesome! I went to Gatorland in FL on my honeymoon. Actually I thought it was better than Epcot, lol

Happy ATWT!

Loved this shot...
Those gators think of that crane as food in the pantry.
Great capture!!
What a great picture! I am shocked that the crane is just chilling out there!!!
Didn't that crane's mommy teach him anything? Amazing capture...just so the gator doesn't do the capturing!
