Sky Friday - The landing

It would be amazing to actually try hang gliding!  I love being high and the thrill of slight danger.  The pictures were taken at Cypress Gardens last April.  In the last few weeks the park has announced that they are permanently closing.  :-)  Happy Sky Watch/ looking at the sky Friday!

Be sure to visit Looking at the sky or Skywatch to see more pictures.

It appears as if the sky is more blue when aloft than at lower altitudes. The landing is a beautiful one, perfectly executed as the pilot didn't make a loud splash at touchdown...

Gorgeous photos! It's too bad the park is closing.

I am so sorry to hear they are closing. My husband and I were there in mid-May and I got some shots of the hang-gliding too! In fact I have one posted in the September Photo Scavenger Hunt on my blog. It was for "something in flight". Your shots are gorgeous and the sky looks similar to the day we were there.

Sorry! Not for me! I like my feet on the ground, or in the canoe! My Muskoka grounds me!

I love the shots. Well done.

Beautiful shot! It's always difficult to picture the flight of anything or anyone... you've presented in this post some really splendid shots!
